Up to now Zeitschrift für Naturforschung does not present its contents in the World Wide Web. So we show here, with kind permission from the editor Professor Grossmann, a publication which appeared first in Z.Naturforsch.43a 697-726 (1988). The paper is singular as it contains the first essentially correct derivation of turbulence in pipes from the basic laws of physics. This derivation facilitated a surprising prediction, viz. Turbulence without Strange Attractor. The prediction was published in 1989 and confirmed by B.Hof et al. in 2006 (Nature 443 pages 59 through 62).To assess the worldwide esteem, search e.g. for "Boberg Brosa 1988".
